Welcome to Springfield~

the simpsons movie is ludicrous, hilarious and totally outragous. those simpsons-ness jokes are indeed sadist and silly. it was undoubtedly entertaining and we really had a great time laughing throughout the show.

went to らーめん まる玉 for lunch.

yupz this was wad i ordered. 味玉子入り the original marutama ramen with ajitsuke tamago (additional topping). ajitsuke tamago simply means seasoned egg. it has a really divine shoyu taste and its egg yolk is sinfully savory. it's amazingly un-dried and powder-less. yummy indeed. *thumb up*

wei ordered the char siew marutama ramen. well, i guess it was also superbly delectable too. every single strand of ramen in his bowl was totally devoured. =X

mmm basically the ramen soup base is just simply chicken broth. but they do have other kinds of soup base on the menu like chicken broth with raw chili and bean broth (limited period only). there're many different types of toppings and side dishes to add on as well. also they've fried garlic and sesame to add more flavors to the ramen. and yupz most importanly, their iced water is FOC!! *kidding* hahax.. the ramen prices range from 12 bucks to 20 bucks excluding the GST/CESS/SERVICE CHARGE.

the allocation of modules has been driving me nuts. neither do i favor nor detest the either groupings. but i just simply execrate choices. and wad's wrong with all the undergrads and their resolving obstinacy to modules swapping. everyone is acting so nonsensical and thats driving me mad soon.

seriously and honestly, i'm too peeved with the entire system. it's too rigid and it compels us to do pretty much to wad IT wants, and of course to ITS benefits as well. i understand that the school's rationale in the grouping but should there also be exceptional cases at least taken into consideration instead of a flat rejection and a very cold 'you still need to find a course mate for mutual swap'. do we, as undergrads, after paying so much course fees of course, not have our own choice to choose which modules to take first?

as usual, being such a lazyass, i've decided to stomach the so-called BEST allocation and happily forget about making choices. but i still needa contemplate my gem modules. shunned.

and yes i loathe bidding. esp when i was out-bidded. disgusted. so much of the education in singapore is so damn good and prestigious, go eat some slugs.

honestly, how many faithful man actually remains in this kaleidoscopic alluring world?
one? two? or three?
conceivably, the existing devoted men are assumed to be either married, attached, homoerotic, dead or simply nonrealistic.
but how certain these married, attached or even homoerotic men are veritably truthful to their partners?
i do not know.
so i postulate this left me with only the dead or nonrealistic faithful men?
sigh, yes indeed, devoted men are close to extinction.

*a mind that is intoxicated with much promiscuousness and perfidiousness*

it says it's a love poem written by Richard Brautigan.
"it's so nice to wake up in the morning all alone and not have to tell somebody you love them when you dont love them any more."

i feel so disturbed after reading these lines on some random webby.how can it ever be nice?

1:16 PM

an almost screwed up saturday evening?
so much of personal obligation and commitment.
where have the agreement and compromise gone to?
how shameful to back out at the very last moment.
should i call it a breach?

*a source of personal irritation*

*claps* happy birthday to me.. happy birthday to me~ happy birthday to meeee~~ happy birthday to me~!! *blows candles*

yeepppyy~ belatedly i still gotten my birthday cakes!! (= hahax..i guess my chronic grumbling does help alittle after all in fetching me 4 pieces of so-so delectable cakes.. *satisfied* that was very sweet of you folks~ thanks to my dearest fg and fb.. *motive achieved = evil grins*

had our dinner at streets tea house at imm and the food was horribly awful =X mmm simply coz none of us was able to finish half portion of our food. *urgh* no more hong kong food for me for now.hahax..and poor ric was called back for in camp duties at the very last minute after all of us had placed our food order.the saddest thing was he couldnt even cancel his order =X merely,he was just jinxed today!!!

after dinner,we went to jp for the transformers movie (= the plot is rather inexplicit but i do love the autobots and the various action effects.the differential characteristics of the autobots were simply hilarious and absurd.esp that silly yet crazily petty bummmbbleeee beeeee who is acting as the spy in the human world.and i think he is quite rubbish sometimes(when he can only play the radio songs to express the thoughts and the current circumstances)but bumblebee is incomparable to that noisy boombox frenzy who is making so much irritating cacophony throughout the show. *faint* however, the heroic leader of protector optimus prime is very cool!! *blink* mmm but i'm wondering why the protectors are more colorful in the outlooks than the destroyers?

it's never about splurging on a birthday gift,a christmas present nor on any other special occasions.sometimes,it's the small little details that you keep in mind on just an ordinary day that marks someone's day so blissful to remember.

JAPAN-HOKKAIDO vacation DAY 6/7: day 6 was filled with magical fantasy in the visit to the shiroi koibito park(ishiya chocolates factory)in sapporo.

this inclined tower is in the right-most side of shiroi koibito park called the love tower.there's a sentence saying for this particular tower: "let's strain leaning love tower with a rope and you'll get the true tower"

every step we took thru the nicely-designed aisle was many big steps advancing into the fairytale-like dreamland that was awaiting ahead for us to explore and enjoy.

yaa~ sugoi desu ne~(= indeed it was a dream came true!! had been waiting for ages to visit such fabulous wonderland.doesnt it sorta resemble the willy wonka's chocolates factory? a similar place that is jam-packed with many fictional characters, exquisite treasures and divine pastry.

the grand meister(sapporo animated clock tower)plays from 0900 to 1900 on every hour show with moving trumpet band and other cute animals.

next,we followed the tiny paw prints and began on our adventure in the wonderland.

our first stop was the chocolate cups collection museum displaying all the precious chocolate cups specially made by different countries for drinking chocolates.

continued on,we entered the ishiya chocolate factory where we learnt about the history and process of manufacturing chocolates.and there're also collection of antiques, the studio where you can make sweets and the cafe "chocolates lounge"

the splendid fine artwork display of the many wedding cakes by the local bakers.wooo~i yearn for one for myself!!

besides that, there're also many excellent refined sugar crafting showcase too.

i really admire those pairs of skillful hands the japanese have.

these're not the only pieces of artworks they have in the house.following on,we discovered many dark and white chocolates figures crafting too.

ishiya is not only famous for their gratifying chocolates, their house ice creams are also heavenly delicious too.

our next stop was the tudor house(built in tudor architecture style which means half timber building).it houses a shop "piccadilly",a cafe "tea time",a big entrance "liberty hall" and the toy museum "the nostalgic toy box".

yeeppy~!! the toy museum was of coz our head start in the tudor house!! mmm i guess there's no need for an explaination =X heeheehee

just a few selective photo of the toys here..interested toy fanatic may request to view others from me (=

then,we went to the piccadilly shop where we bought all the shiroi koibito, cakes, chocolates, ice creams and cookies.

these shall set all of you drooling and green with envy..wahahax!! *evil grins* this ichigo tart is my fav!! the ichigo are so big fat fleshy juicy and fresh sweet (((= it's just simply incomparable!!! and the price is reasonably right for its fresh outlook.

a photo at the liberty hall on the horse carriage.

after so much of delightful indulgence,we went out into the park again to take more photo..

bliss in the pool of pretty flowers!!

again i saw my pretty lavenderrr~

yupz we bought the green tea, rose and chocolates/vanilla ice creams to try.they're so smooth and soft that melted immediately in your mouth heat.

woooo~~ missing hokkaido ice cream againnn =P i simply couldnt resist the ice creams temptation!! (the cause of unslim-ness in me)

thereafter,we travelled for about an hour or so to OTARU - a habor city northwest of sapporo facing the ishikari bay.its main attraction is its charming canal district.

Otaru Unga used to be the central part of the city's busy harbor in the first half of the 20th century but it became obsolete when the modern dock facilities allowed direct unloading of larger vessels.
initially,it was supposed to be landfilled but due to the enthu citizens' movement, some parts of the canal was beautifully restored in the 1980s and the warehouses were transformed into restaurants, shops, cafes, museums and brewery restaurants belonging to Otaru Beer.

Today, the canal is made for a pleasant stroll during the day, with various artists presenting their works to the passing tourists.and when the night falls,it becomes very romantic with all the gas lamps are lit.

another alluring attraction of otaru is its variety of western-style from the late Meiji period buildings that made the Japanese dub Otaru the "Romantic city".

glassware is another trademark of otaru. The Kitaichi Glassworks Company is the traditional maker of glassware and a local leader in the industry.

this's the boat once sat by princess diana..

we werent allowed to take any photo of the glasswares..so i only got this in the glassware shop.

also otaru beer is a trademark of otaru too..

and not forgetting the famous otaru music boxes~

The music boxes are known for befitting the history and romance of the city.on display, there're thousands of models of different sizes and prices.due to some financial and time constraints,i only managed to buy a few for some of my lucky friends and myself. *nod nod* i hope my lucky friends are appreciative of it. =X

next,we went to the famous coffee house where you're allowed to bring home the coffee cup after you finished the drink.

lastly,i made a rash trip into one of the shop along the street that sells TOTORO..

bought a totoro musical box here (((=

thereafter,we went for another ice cream indulgence again..

LAVENDER ice cream~

yummy~!!

our last shopping destination was RERA - chitose outlet mall..it's highly recommended by me!!! this's the place where you can find really cheap nike and adidas stuffs in japan(factory outlets)and pretty japanese-styled apparels and accessories.also there's a free shuttle bus service from the airport to the mall.ii desu yo!! (=

tonight's dinner was at one of the more modern family dining restaurants.there're great varieties of cuisine available for us to choose from.at least it wasnt HOTPOT again.. (gomen ne..no photo was taken)

made for myself my fav candy floss for dessert after the dinner at the restaurant. (= yum yum~
