the incursion of the dark humungous clouds is calamitous.the sun ray could no longer reach the earth surface.the world is dark, gloomy and lifeless.the chirping of birds and the laughter of joyful children fall deaf.the features of human are ill-defined.sadly, what remains in such stygian world is the bustling in flux of crowd.people who just appear and disappear abruptly.who will stay to offer you his pair of warm taut shoulders to lean on.it is thought to be even more extravagant to borrow a benevolent pair of listening ears.apparently, it has left us dawdling alone aimlessly, suffering the coldness and insouciance.people no longer speak of tomorrow.not even today perhaps.

hello singapore, i'm back from hokkaido holidaying..my 7 days in hokkaido was fantabulous!! it was 7 days of pure relaxing and shopping pleasure, plus the superb fantastic gastronomical delights, had a lot of fun and laughter with my dear sister, cousin and aunt..bleah tho i think i'd become a little more unslim boo~

after i learnt about the series of events tan san is doin now in japan,it makes me even more excited about my hokkaido trip tmr..AAAAHHH~ i just cant wait for tmr to arrive soon..
okayz before i hop onto the jet plane and become a rural girl,i'll blog a brief intro to my hokkaido itinerary for those who are interested:
NOBORIBETSU:
*jigokudani hell valley - viewing the sulphurous valley,boiling ponds and steaming streams.
*sulphur-mineral water hotspring bath at night.
LAKE TOYA:
*mount showa - an interesting landform that was raised from a farmland after 2 years of volcanic activities.
*bear ranch - feeding the bears and watching bears shows and performances.
ASAHIKAWA (2nd largest city in hokkaido):
*shiraoi ainu village - catching a glimpse of the aborigines' lifestyle.
*ramen village - seeing the making of ramen and tasting them.
*asahikawa shopping street - hoping for some great bargains.
*otokoyama sake brewery - has 330 years history of brewing some of the best sake in japan and enjoying the sweet to bitter taste of sake.
SOUNKYO GORGE:
*situated at the foot of mount daisetsu-zan,created by dramatic columnar cliffs,lined with shooting star and silver river waterfalls.
*hopping onto sounkyo ropeway (gondola and chairlift ride) to view the magnificent scenary.
SAPPORO:
*ishiya chocolate factory - seeing the making of hokkaido chocolates - the snow white.
*odori park - site of annual ice festival,sapporo TV tower.
*tokeidai clock tower
*susukino ramen alley - seeing the 10 established ramen restaurants competition.
*tanukikojo shopping arcade - largest shopping mall in hokkaido.
*nijo fresh seafood market - indulging in all hokkaido delicacies like hokkaido crab dinner.

yepppyy~!! dated my cousin out for a mini shoppin spree and a nice afternoon high tea in town today..bleah and this's my triumph of the day..
a nice pair of everlast RED shoes (= yupz..tho it looks kinda simple but it's something red that i've always wanted..and simplicity is good~! hmmm i'm contented now..
and i'm even more blissed with the double layers chocolate reverie and the iced tea zwine..the tingling sweetness of the chocolate cake is nicely harmonized with the coolin light soft taste of the tea..wooo~~this's so heavenly..yet so sinful at the same time..oohhh it's totally a sin-in-love~!!
okayz this time i'm really really complacent after the natto maki..
YEAH~! finally i got to eat it after so much craving.. (((=
today is such a gratification with all the indulgences except that i waited for my cousin for 45 minutes..
i'm so blessed as always~ (=

sighhh~ i missed the spidey movie again..supposedly we'd confirmed to watch the spidey movie ysd but at the very last minute we decided to go to the kbox instead..oh well i guess i've to download it and watch it myself..boo hoo hoo sabishii yo..
but the kbox-ing is also quite enjoyable and crazy tho..with the accompaniment of my friends' super enthu comical plus emo dancings..and we also had our very own zhang hui mei,wong lee hom and duets biao ge hui..hahax..the fb - lalo and ben sounded so "trans" when they tried to sing the high notes in amei's songs - ting hai and zhen shi..quite hilarious tho..and i think we took a video of them =X but i dont know how to upload on blog..
bleah..but actually frankly speakin,i think both of them can sing quite well..sounded not so bad overall..the super emo mike hogger ben sings better in english songs..and lalo sounds abit like jay..hahax..
but after all i still think my fg sounds BETTER~!! *bias* ros sounds very nice in those super high notes (oh well that explains why she's in sop) and wan always has the SHE selina's singin voice (the sweet type) hahax..this's the standard you can expect from the 2 years of experiences as choir members..hoho (=
the kbox-ing ysd ended at 0300..ahhh~ and my throat is hurtin againnn..i'm really not trained to sing for so many hours after all T__T and also because of many late night sleeps,i've a huge red pimple on my nose now..boo~ gonna look ugly in my hokkaido photo..wonders if it'll recover in 3 days??

people questioned my dressin style today..
do i look weird? ugly? or just bein "off"? hmmm i think my layerin style needs a review..or should my dressin need a review instead? hahax..
yeah finally i did some packin up for hokkaido and movin out..hahax..didnt realize that i've so many junks in my room..really feelin like a garang guni girl now man..bleah..actually i just cant bear to throw away all the cards and gifts that my besties gave me..they're all precious memories and remains of them for me..and ya i think i'm quite lian jiu..perhaps a little sentimental and emo ah..hahax..that's why my room is piling up with so much junks..and my mom is urging me to throw away as much as possible..okayz i'll try my best =X

brrrr~ wakin up this mornin feelin totemo samui desune..so i decided to layer againnn..
nothin really interestin in this 7th workin outlook of mine..an usual layerin to give me more warmth..actually infact,i wore san layers at the office..a black cardigen as the outermost layer..hahax..sounds quite alot for sg weather ah..but i really feel very cold today..even now..brrrr~~
oh ya i finally did something constructive today..it was to change all my savin into yen..hahax..actually,this was my first time goin to a money changer and enquiring the currency exchange rate myself..was rather excited but my cousin said i was MAD..am i?but it was really very fun and auntie too..i couldnt believe that we actually did a comparison of the currency exchange rate between the different shops in chinatown =X hmmm we just wished to utilize our limited resources fully to the max ah..hmph..
wow wow wow i feel loaded..ya if only the nominations are in SGD..hahax..
after that,we went for a late dinner at the "mei shi jie" in chinatown..and YEAH~!!finally i got to eat my fav orangey "cake" in the wu xiang..i think it's made from the chestnuts (= totemo oishii desune..heavenly niceeeeee~
and i also had my fav chinese dessert..the zhi ma tang yuan in xin ren tang~!! =P
wah~ feelin very very very satisfied at this very moment (= coz this mornin i'd my fav mcd hotcakes and apple pie as well..and also milk tea..oops~i think i'm kinda greedy ah..hmmm i'm carbo overdose againnn..hahax..
but still i'm happily loaded with great delicacies (((=

yippeey..today is the launch of the shrek mcd!!bleah..was kinda lucky to be among the first few to taste the new food items on the menuboard..the green slimy honeydews jelly bits sundae ice cream and the grilled teppanyaki burger..
givin my five cents worth of comments:the jelly bits have given some chewy textures to the smooth ice cream..and with the green slimy honeydews sauce,it adds flavour to the plain normal vanilla ice cream..it also has a tingle of apple taste in it..and overall,it's not very sweet..
the grilled teppanyaki burger is great for black pepper lovers i think..the sauce on the meat has strong black pepper taste,creamy and a little sourish..quite appetizing..but i find it too spicy for me =X
besides that,there's also a honeydews milk shake i think..and there's a shrek series of happy meal collectables..hahax..hmmm i feel like havin HAPPY MEALS tmr =P
and to celebrate the launch of the shrek mcd,there's a sale of the shrek ears today..exclusively for the HQ staffs..hahax..my aunt bought this pair of ears for me..YEAH so i guess i'm the first few again to wear this..

hahax..we'd a really really different yet fascinating mother's day celebration this year at my house..it was so exciting =P in the mornin,my cousin and i went to the WET MARKET to buy all the ingredients for the steamboat dinner..AHHH~it's the WET MARKET!!hahax..i cant remember when was the last time i stepped into such places..perhaps the time when i was still stayin at tiong bahru?when i was still very young and cute?bleah..i was totally amazed by the crowded-ness today(maybe coz it's a sunday morning i guess)
and the really really very raw foods you can find there..
the bloody porkie..
the slimy pungent overwhelming fishes and seafood..
and the conclusion is we're really very inexperienced in marketin..hahax..basically,we know nuts about the freshness nor the qualities of everythings =X
but after all..it was really very fun..an eye-opening experience for me..hahax..but we looked kinda unglam after that..
after so much of hardworks in the mornin - the marketin,the washin,the cuttin,the settin..finally it was time for a big steamboat feast..
looked quite presentable and appetizing right..was quite proud of it..bleah =D
YEAH!!it was the time for the BIG dig-in..

had an early mother's day dinner at the hawker centre in tuas today..its fish head curry was highly recommended by my mama and it was a special dedication to my granny who is a die-hard fan of curry..hahax..and just see how boastful my mama was after the dinner when my granny flattered her good choice =X
and ya obviously i didnt inherited the fondness of curry from my granny..i took a small bite of the fish head curry(just wantin to try the taste since everyone said it was delicious)and then i started to gulp down gallon and gallon of water..boo~ it was very very very spicy and i never want to eat it again..
AHHH~~ OH GOSHHH..i was kinda amazed..seein my family finished everything from the fish head curry claypot..
hahax..actually i think this photo was awfully taken..i didnt have the chance to take a before photo of the fish head curry before everyone started to attack it..
WAHAHAX..oops!! another disgustin photo taken to remind me of how fussy and picky eater i'm..
the veggies stems,chilli,onions,dried shrimps,spring onions and some weird weird thingy =X
hmmm do i sound like i'm unsatisfied with the dinner? hahax..nah of coz not..i'd my favourite sweet sour pork and green tea and also seein...........

the mornin sky was heavily masked by innumerous cumulonimbus clouds and then there was a sudden cloudburst..wooo~~ brrr~ it was such a great weather to hide underneath my warm blanket in the bed,have a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows and accompany by my lappy ((= hahax..okay i'm day dreamin againn..sigh no doubt i'm workin today..then again i racked my brain,ransacked my wardrobe and finally i came up with this new look..
bleah..this's my 4th outlook =P
i lay flat on the ground,in hope that the weariness in me will slowly seep out a little by a little out of my body..the player plays the music that is pleasin to ears..soothin to souls..glad that the day is finally over..

good mood arose from healthy sleep overdose when there's no dream and no nightmare upheaval..and which could then uphold the idea of "different outfits" everyday..so today,i'd decided to go abit more "smart" with my black blouse..hahax..which i think i'd only worn once =X
bleah..this's my 3rd workin outfit alreadyyy..dont know how long i can maintain the "different outfits" idea ah..hahax..
guilttt arose from carbo and sugar overdoses when you down pizza and strawberry cheesecake for lunch..and that'll push you a step closer to the "un-thin" T__T so ya you're wad you put into your mouth..
ill-health arose from stupidity and frigidity overdoses when you thought 6 hours of sleep is sufficient and got yourself drenched for nothin..ho ho..feelin hot hot hot nowww..ima atsui desuyo..also my nose is detachin soon from mucus overdose..hahax..

yeah! finally had just enough sleep last night but i think i can sleep even more..hahax..maybe another 5 hours?bleah..feelin much refreshed today (= tho last night i think i'd a "messy" and "violent" dream..hahax..coz when i woke up this mornin,i saw all my pillows and comforter on the ground..hmmm was wonderin wad did i do mannn =X heeex..oh ya,sighhh,i couldnt think of wad to wear today again..and so i just grabbed a tee and a razor-back to mix and match..and ended up lookin kinda causal..
ahhh cant be bothered already..and also so far no complain from the HR yet..so yupz i'm quite "safe" for now =P
my aunt fetched me to work today so i got to sleep a little longer (i wish for moreee) but but i got a long lecture throughout the whole journey to KAP =.=" ahhh~~ okay hereby i shall not explain the content of her "lecture"..it wont be that interestin i guess..
anyway,today's work was kinda slack..didnt have much things to do so i jus went around 3-8ing and stonin..hahax..then i went early for lunch.. =X sighhh and auntie dorrine aka auntie dor keeps feedin me ah..like that how to slim down? T__T and everyone keep askin me to eat more..BOO~ xin ji zhong le..okay i know they're just bein kind and nice to me..and it's not very polite to reject people's offers too..so never mind i can always cut down my dinner n breakfast intakes for them (><)"
sighhh i was just told that the annual finance spring clean is scheduled on the 22/05..BOO HOO HOO~ how can they do this to me?22/05 is THE day that i'm flyin off to hokkaido..and since the flight is scheduled at night,i've no chance to sneak off work for that day..so i think i'll be very very very tireddd..hmmm and perhaps i'll just "concuss" on the plane T__T
okayz and today i fully understood how does a sub-zero temperature feel like..the bus i took just now has a super tuper blastin air-con system..the cold icy air pierces thru the skin and penetrates into the bones..it's "freezingly painful" brrrr~~ i shivered from head to toes tho i'd a jacket with me..and i think maybe because i was half drenched too..it may contribute to the extreme coldness i felt..
oh yesh i remember to pay my bill today..hahax..finally..after so longgg~ thanks to my self-volunteered reminder =X hahax kiddin ah..but still arigato! and also i remember to accomplish wad my mama told me to do..she reminded me =.=" hahax..she has no chance to nag at me anymore =D so tonight shall be my peaceful silent night..mmmmm~~~ ((=

BOO HOO HOO~ i'm so un-thin T__T i dont know wad to wear for work tmr alreadyyy..and i need a reminder by my side..i keep forgettin to do my stuffs (><)" okay i need to (1)pay my bill(is overdue for more than a week already) (2)oh dear i forgot wad my mama asked me to do.. T__T i need a reminder!!

urghhh..my god..i cant believe i managed to wake up at 0630 today despite the late night sleep and the horrible nightmare..BOO HOO HOO~ i was really feelin very lethargic in the mornin and i couldnt even think properly of wad to wear to work too..hmmm was supposed to look glam on the first day of work right..=.=" sighhh but i ended up this way..
seeming kinda a little too causal for work at MCD ah..and since it's a MNC with a very strict dress code (no jean,no berm,no un-covered shoes unless is heels,cant be too skimpy if not the 3-8 aunties will start gossiping) and and i've very limited apparels in my wardrobe..sighhh how can i survive till july?maybe aug? T__T
anyway,i was early for my first day work and which it allowed me to have some time for MCD breakfast (= yippeeeyyy and it was a treat from my aunt..hahax..i had a bagel and i think it's not very niceee..booo~the bread is a little un-soft and has a complicated taste of tomato/onion omelette and ham and cheese..the cheesy part with ham is quite delicious but i dont like the omelette coz of onion~EEERrrmm..overall was kinda disappointment and i still think that HOTCAKES is the BEST MCD breakfast mannn..hmmm maybe i'll have that for tmr breakfast since i'd just gotten my FREE MCD EMPLOYEE VOUCHERS(EMVs)..72 bucks worth of free MCD..oh gosh it's so sinful ah..anyone wanna eat MCD??i give u a treat~ =D
oh ya i was really excited to see "sister" sally again..hahax..and oops =X she has become un-slim..yesh coz of the aftermath of pregnancy..but she insists that she'll return to her old fabulous figure after her newly joined "HOT" yoga..i'm lookin forward to see the changes ah..and her baby boy was really adorable n chubby (saw the video she took for her baby) hmmm i think babies are only cute when they dont cry =X urghhh..BOO HOO~~ auntie dorrine and ah paul da ge said i grow fat..is it true? T__T i dont know how to react mannn..and they still feed me with so much food..today i'd thai food for lunch..sooo spicyyy karai desuyo~~and i didnt take much of it coz it's oily tooo..and ya to prevent me from dozing off in the afternoon,i'd a SM cup of cappuccino from the pantry..dont be mistaken..it was supposed to call SuperMini..a promotion cup from McCafe and i took a photo of it..
okayz it's really a small cup tho cant really tell from the photo..hmmm i think maybe a few gulps(less than 5)can finish the cup of coffee ah..

irrashaimase (= you're about to enter a very personal part of my life - i call it the un-glam junkie side of me..the colourful "stickers" you see in the picture here - the sweet,the queer-lookin star,the distorted rainbow are created by my sis..she has never been good in arts so i think they're quite well-done already..they're all now pasted on my room door..the first thing you'll see upon entering..
=X oh yesh this's the first glimpse of my room..looks horribly unkempt,sloppy,untidy,small and crampy..hahax..the worst is yet to come..and to assure you..this's a girl's room..
okay this's one of the more presentable side of my room..my cosy little bed =P a spot in my room where i spend most of my time in..my beauty sleep,my colourful tv indulgence,my chatterin,slackin,studyin and even day-dreamin..a divine place where all my thoughts and emotions flow..and i suppose it's a very significant part to every room..
behind my bed is a shared wardrobe with my sis..apparently,it is quite unsightly and untidy..and i do not arrange my apparel in rainbow series like you tho..oh ya i think more than half of the clothes in the wardrobe belong to my sis..T__T i really think i've very few apparel so anybody wanna buy for me?and it's quite devastating to know that some guys who hold more clothes than me..
never mind about my poor possession of apparel..this's another my favourite spot in my room..i adopt this idea from the japanese/korean styles of living which i always encounter on tv - the low-lying table..hahax and i always think that this table has a very high utility..practically,i do almost all my things with that table..writin,readin,eatin,storin,dryin hair and even a gallery display of my photo (= i strongly encourage people to have one too.. =D
hahax..oops =X obviously,this's my dumpin ground..simply,i just throw all my books,notes,bags,un-worn shoes and even worn clothes and un-open shoppin bags(NEW)there..sometime you may also find new chocolate boxes and junk food when i've my monthly groceries shoppin =X supposedly i've to clear the mess today but i end up bloggin about my room now..T__T they look too terrible and i dont know how and where to start the massive clean up..furthermore,i never really like cleanin (but i dont mind cookin =P) and i'm feelin kinda lethargic today..today is sunday which is equivalent to rest day =D so so i need a hardworkin maid..
oh ya this's the primary school that i used to teach during my holidays and it's suited just across the road..and my sis and my cousins were all graduated from this school as well..the kids are kinda sweet but rather mischievous and talkaive..i remember once they treated me some cookies on children's day and they even invited me to their birthday's parties..sounds sweet right?i think that's the satisfaction of being a teacher i guess (=

yeah finally i'd the kbox session with fg and fb yesterday (= hahax feelin very satisfied after singin for about 5 hours and tryin all kinds of songs we can find in there..so now my throat is feelin alittle sore =X shouldnt have tried to biao ge coz i've not been singin for very long and neither do i can sing too..but still it was fun..yesterday,i met ros first at jec for lunch..i thought i was late coz she texted: "she's at the train station already" and when at that time i was still at home,gettin ready to go out..so i rushed out but i didnt see her at jec when i reached..so i called her and the train station she referred to was yck not je =.=" in the end,i wasnt late,in fact i was early..then again,we'd the same old problem of choosin a place to eat and also there's no subway at jec so we just settled for delifrance..tho i still prefer to have subway =Xlater,we met lalo and ricky..and my darlin wan suddenly called and said she couldnt make it..she was hit by the same old ailment again T__T it reminds me of how often we take turns to take MCs in jc days coz of that stupid stomach flu..so dear folks,stomach flu is infectious and highly contagious for your info..try to stay clear if you know you've a weak stomach like us..it's terrible to be down with stomach flu T__T you'll not want to try this..and was feelin kinda bad that we went ahead without her (coz actaully she wants to sing kbox badly as well)so we decide to hold another kbox concert again next sat exclusively for her (= such nice friends huh? actually we want to sing again too =X kbox is kinda addictive ahh (><)"after the kbox,we went for a very late dinner at imm,then,everyone started the big talks all over again..the education,career,ambition,aspiration blah blah blah..and everyone seem to have wad they wanna to accomplish,why i dont?been steppin into the era of "2" already,and i still do not have any idea of wad i wanna do..why do i feel that i've been living for others,and not myself..are my self-identities startin to disintegrate and gradually dissolve into this complicated world?or should i doubt my own construction of self instead of makin this world the scapegoat of my own's doin..i cant help it but to bring this bewilderment to the abstraction of imagined community by Benedict Anderson..how true can a person's perception of his own nation live on by just the images of communion they're interacting with..is that suppose to mean that the community construct you or you construct the working of the community..in a way,are our self-identities desginate by the community rules or we've the absolute authorities over it..so ya this shall allow you to muse over the dull weekend =P

YIPPEEE~(= today marks the end of year 1 and the horrible sem 2 exam..oh ya really think that this sem has passed by very quickly..T__T boo hoo hoo i'm gonna be year 2 in august this year..no longer a freshie anymore..but still this sem has been a fruitful enjoyable one..YEAH! i've met many nice people..firstly are GERLYNN and TIAN LI..my subway buddy cum IT1001 project mates..i remember together we grab all the movies,drama,music and doze off in lectures..oops =X ahhh and i miss our subway time..my 6 inches honey oat turkey breast with lotsa lettuce tomatoes cucumbers capsicums pickles chipotle southwest sauce and double chocolate chip~(= hahax i'm gonna start this again in august when the new term starts..bleah =X
GERLYNN and TIAN LI at cafe cartel..=Pnext are all my japanese classmates TAN san,BOH san,TAY san..blah blah (just to list a few)oh ya i'll like to extend my graditude to BOH san and Tay san who have helped me alot in my jap when i was down with chicken pox..ARIGATO~~ m(^-^)m also BOH san for all the anime..i'll still continue to leech them ah geex..and TAN san whom i only started talkin to after all the TB classes hahax..kinda weird but still can click right? (tho about the AGE GAP thingy =X) oh yeah we're goin JAPAN too..but not together..the end of may,i'll be headin to HOKKAIDO with my aunt,sis,cousin..so exciting ah..cant wait to see the place and taste their delicacies-RAMEN,MILK ICECREAM,CHOCOLATES,SAKE *drooling* and yes how can i forget to look at those cute japanese boys and shoppin hahax..beside my mouth is workin hard, my eyes cant lose out too right..i only look at beautiful things and people..=X (sorry if you're left un-noticed)
took it after our last ST1231 lecture..put this coz it makes me look niceee..and the pjc girly GRACE,SIEW CHENG you know who you're,who accompany me through all the core lectures and allow me to copy your notes =X and my dearest lab partner ADELENE..together we suffered bitterly through all the past long tolling practical hours and exam..and always tryin to finish the practicals fast so to go home earlier (i think we're always among the first few to leave the lab =X) and sometime we do stupid things together..like takin picture with the specimen in museum? but i think the BEST practical ever was the ZOO (= also ZHI HAO the lame LSM1101 lab partner cum joker..the best thing he ever did was to give me a box of dark chocolates on my birthday with BOH san..so still not so bad afterall =X

anyway this sem is full of uncertainty too..kinda unsure if my CAP will hopefully increase after all the hard works i'd put in..and ya if i'm not wrong,my mama does expect me to get at least an honour T__T tho she knows that it's never wad i wanted to do..so this's wad i call "li bu chong xin" study..afterall i think the degree is just another stepping stone into the working world..maybe after that i'm able to do wad i like right..at least something that is within my range of interests (= but bein able to sleep,eat,watch,study,speak are already a blessin for me and havin so many people around me..yes i'm happy..who cares about the result afterall =X
